Dare To Bare

In a world full of trends, I want to remain a classic’  Iman

Well one trend I’m prepared to get behind is the off the shoulder craze. This weekend the weather has been so glorious, so with sun on my face sitting in my back garden I dared to start planning my summer wardrobe.

I came across this image on Pinterest and decided to ‘steal her style’.

I have already added two off the shoulder dresses to my wardrobe for a music festival I’m going to in London in a few weeks time, I think I will have to just give in and order the navy Asos top too!

As always, feel free to leave a question or comment below, or catch me on Facebook/Instagram.

Caroline Matthews

As I sit down to write this blog post on Irish Designer Extraordinaire, Caroline Matthews, I am brimming with excitement for someone who I now call a friend.

When I say Irish, I mean adopted Irish – thankfully for us. Caroline was actually born in Leeds, and studied at Leeds College Of Art. She then moved to Ireland and fell in love with our beautiful country, I’m so glad we can now claim her as one of our own.

The name Caroline Matthews for me and hundreds of others is synomous with elegance, luxury and since last February Arnotts!

Caroline started her design career in Bridal Wear and then contemporary fashion followed.

In the last thirteen months she has gone from strength to strength. Indeed she has dressed some of our most famous Irish beauties including Pippa O’ Connor, Lorraine Keane, Úna Foden and most recently Rachel Allen.

The most amazing news of all is that Caroline has launched her official website today and has given me an exclusive 15% off discount code for all Womenwhowearblack followers.
Not only that but she’s also included a free shipping discount code for a limited amount of time.

Occasion Wear

So for me, when Julia Hengel wears dresses from a particular brand a couple of times in one month, I take note!

The beautiful navy one she paired with the pink Chanel above is sold out but I did promise you a link to one that is still available.

This sateen number is oh so elegant and perfect for any occasion you may have coming up.

Shop here quickly before it sells out too.

I would pair this with understated, simple sandals like these ones. Let the dress do the talking.

The price point on these dresses I’ve picked are very reasonable, with most costing between eighty and ninety euro so it won’t break the bank.

With summer meant to be on the way, I’m hoping you’ll be able to recycle these beauties for more than one occasion.

I’ve been loving all your feedback lately so pop a comment below on your favourite dress or contact me via Facebook/Instagram.

Pink, Grey, Casual, Chic.

‘Just remember that ultimately dressing is always about attitude, feeling comfortable and confidence’ Kate Moss

Wise words from the Queen of cool, Ms. Kate Moss. Some hear the word comfort and think ‘boring’ or ‘drab’ but fashionistas are proving comfort can be just as chic as high octane glamour of late.

Two shades I’m consistently seeing as I’m trawling Pinterest and Tumblr for outfit inspo are pink and grey. Teamed together, they deliver an outfit that is minimalist and sleek.
After posting these two outfits last week, I had so many requests to recreate the looks, so here is my latest style steal.

Sometimes a little leopard print is all you need to add some umph to your outfit.

I already blogged about the leopard print flats pictured above HERE I got such a great response to this particular post and so many requests for a second blog on the look that I decided to add some cute and chic print clutches to your wishlist/wardrobe!
